Friendship Day is the coolest event, simply because it gives us a chance to celebrate one of the happiest parts of our existence—friends! I love my friends to no end. I am totally in love with child hood life. And I’m sure you too have a whole lot of friends who take the everydayness out of your every day. Such special days don’t come often. A friend makes us smile when we are in a mess and helps us in our darkest hours. They are like angels handpicked by god to be by us in our walk of life. And we are grateful for this great gift, aren’t we? I have some awesome friends in my family too. The one who tops the list is my big sis, Mom, dad, my little girls, and daughter in law are no exceptions either. So on August 6, think I’m going to send them one special friendship Poem to let them know how special they are. If you have some cool friends in family, go right ahead and wish them now, if you need to say thanks for all that they did and still do. So go ahead and have a blast this August 6.
So we started our journey from Secunderabad railway station praying to Lord Venkateshwara to take care of our journey and get his grand Darshan smoothly. My husband started chanting “Govinda, Govinda,” through out our journey untill we had Lord Venkateshwara’s Darshan. Amazingly, we felt that Lord has listened to our Prayers because we saw lot of miracles happened on our way. Despite being a rush day, our compartment in the train was almost empty and we had a very comfortable journey till we reached Tirupati.

There was no rain for many months at Tirupati and Thirumala. But when we started climbing the foothills of Tirumala, suddenly rain showered heavily and we were very happy because now with out the heat waves we could climb the hills easily. After some steps we reached the Deer park, to our surprise a giant deer came towards us without fear as the park was completely fenced. We felt the Lords presence in this deer, which is really a Miracle and fed it with some raw vegetables. My three little kids enjoyed feeding the deer. I was thinking a lot about not missing the visit to Varaha Swamy temple at Tirumala because as per the tradition we should first visit Varaha Swamy and then visit our Lord. We finally reached the abode of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala. We didn’t have reservation for rooms. This was the first time in my life we came with 3 little kids with out any arrangements. So we were searching for a room but unfortunately that day all rooms were booked.

We didn’t know what to do and where to stay that night. We were standing and wondering when all of a sudden three strangers approached us and asked us that do we need room to rest? My husband was afraid to accept their offer but they came to me and said they are from Bapatla, the town I grew up in, and they know me and my father. We prayed to god once again and believed them and they took us in a Tata Sumo and gave us the key and the pass and dropped us at Varaha Swamy Guest House. This was really a miracle for us. Lord Varaha Swamy has showed us a shelter to stay. We believe that the three strangers could be Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma. So we first had Lord Varaha Swamy’s Darshan and then went to Thirumala for Lord Venkateshwara’s Darshan.

For the first time We went as a normal ordinary pilgrim in the Vaikuntam Q complex line and had our Lord Venkateshwara’s Darshan for almost 5 minutes, this is once again a Miracle as nobody pulled, or pushed us and we stood in front of Lord Venkateswara for 5 minutes and shed tears and Thanked Him for all his blessings and giving us a memorable, miraculous darshan which we cannot forget in our Life. I never thought we can go with out any reservations and we can darshan lord like very common people without VIP entrance. It is a really miraculous darshan. After that I too believe my husband’s bhakthi. Because of his bhakthi our journey ended happily.

PROUD TO BE INDIAN

HAI EVERY ONE, TODAY I READ ONE BOOK ABOUT OUR INDIA, I LIKE TO SHARE SOME MEMORES OF OUR INDIAN HISTORY.SO I WRITE THIS ARTICAL.
Did you know that India is the largest democracy in the world, the 6th largest country in the world, one of the most ancient and living civilizations (at least 10, 000 years old!)?The official Sanskrit name for India is Bharat.
The name `India’ is derived from the River Indus, the valleys around which were the home of the early settlers. When I look back at my past I wonder how simple he was at his heart, to shed all the hang-ups of power and just enjoy being a simple family man. On one occasion, when he was out of power and not been nominated as a Governor yet, he had personally drove a car to receive me and my family at the bus station in Hyderabad. In spite of his political career, he always had enough time for family members. Being a man of many talents, he enjoyed writing letters to his family members to counsel a member in distress, or to motivate a grand child to aspire for higher education. That is why father is a Role Model for me.

I found him to be very pleasant and always willing to help others, with out any selfish motive; a great human trait indeed. In all his interactions with people, he has been very affectionate, informal and made others feel quite at ease. This is again a great quality coming from a celebrity of his stature who has occupied the highest assignment of Governorship.

He was a man of choice and determination with comfortably rich economic background, educational qualifications, academic abilities, and oratorical talents and his intense love and loyalty for national integration.

As a young man, he participated in all the activities and still studied well, exhibited excellent leadership qualities in every field he touched, worked hard throughout his life for the betterment of his little town, climbed the steps of politics without getting tempted by the money or power, reached the peaks of politics as well as finding time to encourage the development of arts and organizing cultural programs to promote national integration through music and dance. His achievements in various fields of education, sports, cinema, theatre and social work when mixed with many other basic qualities give out the best results.

This man despite being of highest caliber, is loving and caring towards his wife, parents, children, grand children and great grand children and finds time to enjoy with them, crack jokes across the dining table, leaving every member of the family with smiles. He filled joy in everyone in the limited time he had in a day and made everyone feel that he/she has a special space in his heart. Now with all the qualities mentioned till now even God has to feel proud of his creation of “THE COMPLETE MAN”.

Now this man being my FATHER and I being his daughter I feel not only happy but also proud. Knowing indeed very well that he is a rare creation, I do not feel the pressure of emulating him but instead love to watch out for his footsteps and follow them as far as I can. His life is a model of intense creative activity for public causes and should be a model for all young persons aspiring to assume leadership.

THAT IS WHY MY FATHER IS A ROLE MODEL FOR ME.

Happy fathers Day !!!

MOTHER

A mother generally forgives her kids for all the misdeeds they do. She forgives them because she loves them exceptionally and wants her kids to come up in life and establish themselves. She loves them so much that she willingly makes herself vulnerable and sacrifices her own interests in the interests of her kids. Most of the time she remains concerned about her kids’ welfare and wants them to be safe and successful by all means. So please learn to love your mother unconditionally. Accept every thing that comes into your life as a part of her creation and as a part of your destiny.

In the United States of America MOTHER'S DAY was first suggested in the year of 1872 by JULIA WARD HOWE. PRESIDENT WOODROW WILSON IN 1914 MADE THE OFFICIAL announcement proclaiming MOTHER'S DAY AS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY. That was to be held each year on the 2nd Sunday of MAY. I WANT TO SHARE SOME THING ABOUT INDIAN MOTHERS EVERY ONE IN THIS MOTHER’S DAY.

The Indian mother is not just playing the ‘role’ of mother along with other roles as many western mothers do. She is a mother-totally and completely. When I describe about Indian moms with my American friends the way Indian mother relates to her children, feeding them with her hands, sleeping with them till they are 6 or 8. They are surprised and they told me this behavior goes against the grain of our highly individualistic society where mothers treat children as only one part of their life – placing equal importance on pursuing ambitious moneymaking careers and private interests. This attitude causes mothers to shut their two years old baby in a room at naptime and a set and timer for 15 minutes letting them cry until the timer rings. It creates anger irritation and frustration with one planned activity.

As an Indian mom it is painful to see the complexes building up in the children in America because their parents leave them for 10 or 12 hours a day.

One day a friend of my daughter’s left her two year old girl with me. She was having trouble with napping in a dark closed room. I thought let me lie down with her like an Indian mother. When I did, she was amazed and hugged me like my own baby…it really touched me.

I thanked my mom she was a wonderful and rare woman her gentle compassionate touch shaped my very essence forever. I love you mom I miss you a lot. I know where ever you are you will feel my written words.

Indian Idol 2

When the Indian Idol was first introduced in India, the sony TV made the following claim

When 'Idols', the hugely popular worldwide phenomenon, was brought to India last year as 'Indian Idol', Sony Entertainment Television promised the nation that it would forget everything else and it surely did!
It surely did but not the way they thought but rather for being very awful!

Objective of this program seems to be to just fool the public and make easy money for the channel than a singing competition. As indicated by other viewers, it’s a local group judgment. Definitely not an all-Indian viewer judgment!

They have given lot of rules and regulations on General Terms and Conditions for voting for Indian Idol But failed establish any broader rules for the participants. The overall format is hopeless - selection, voting and role of judges. There should be a MINIMUM dress code and selection criteria for the participation.
If there is NO dress sense don't select participants at all. Please don't make fun of their status by re-playing those videos.

This kind of mass voting is considered for games and quiz, not to play with a career of an individual. If 1000 people vote for 3 lakhs times, it doesn’t mean that the participant got 3 lakhs votes. It’s sad to see the judges are made helpless viewers after the last 12 selections. ‘Mass’ people considered none of their recommended comments properly before voting.

Anchors

Putting too much stress on village girl, poor family, small place, sometimes I feel was a waste of projection.

Judges

Anumalik -hope this gets to you! I just wanted to say that if anyone was a true judge there, it was you! Not only were you honest, but also rather entertaining! Good for you and keep it up! I trust that you will stand by your words, and give Karunya a chance! For it takes a true expert to see a true diamond!

Farah Khan - You are one in a million. No wonder why you are so talented. You are a great human being.

Sonu Nigam - Sonu is the one who is lovable and a kind person. Who respect the feelings of others? Sonu is whose voice is truly true and honest, sweet and blessings of GOD.

Participants

Karunya - I have watched the Indian Idol show from the beginning. And all throughout he did so well, consistently he was singing great and he could sing all kinds of songs beautifully. In our minds and hearts karunya is the real Indian Idol. We are very proud of him, especially when the results were announced there was a smile on his face and his parents also. They took it really gracefully and with Great Spirit. This is just the beginning for him. He has the clarity in terms of speech & pronunciation as well as a crystal clear voice quality.

Sandeep Acharya - His selection as an Indian Idol-2 was not fair at all and I think he also knows that and will agree. But, since, Indian janta has selected sandeep as their Indian Idol-2; he must think seriously that how he can improve his singing more effectively that he could sing almost every type of songs flawlessly. Only this is the way left to justify his selection as an Indian Idol-2.

It is unfortunate that even after 58 years of independence from the British, we Indians are still slaves to the great regional divide! It is a pity that a highly talented and versatile singer like Karunya has lost to the regional bias of the Indian people!

No sane person, with an iota of music sense, would have felt bad if Karunya had lost to a worthy competitor like Amey Date. Then, it would have still been a moment of National Pride. But, the fact that he has lost to an unworthy competitor makes this verdict a NATIONAL SHAME!!

My head hangs in shame for what my fellow India’s have done to talent. Nothing personal against Sandeep but, yes he has good looks and that is all. He has got nothing new to offer, except the same old voice of Udit Narayanji. There is nothing fresh for the music lovers. Besides, he is very poor in Sur. Even in the Grand Finals, he faltered in his Sur in most of his songs. It is still a foregone conclusion that, though Sandeep may have won the crown, KARUNYA IS THE UNCROWNED KING of the Indian Idol Contest, as he has the potential and caliber far greater than that of even Abhijeet Sawant, who incidentally also favored Karunya as the II2.

So what, if the crazy, biased, Janata has voted him out, Karunya is clearly the favorite of a majority of the Industry bigwigs and mark my words, he will make it to the pinnacle of success in singing, by overshadowing some of the biggest names of our times!!

GOD BLESS YOU KARUNYA! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR INDIAN IDOL, Crown or no Crown!

Welcome to my Blog

This blog is created to support and expand Telugu community to honor up & coming Telugu talent through out the world.
