MOTHER

A mother generally forgives her kids for all the misdeeds they do. She forgives them because she loves them exceptionally and wants her kids to come up in life and establish themselves. She loves them so much that she willingly makes herself vulnerable and sacrifices her own interests in the interests of her kids. Most of the time she remains concerned about her kids’ welfare and wants them to be safe and successful by all means. So please learn to love your mother unconditionally. Accept every thing that comes into your life as a part of her creation and as a part of your destiny.

In the United States of America MOTHER'S DAY was first suggested in the year of 1872 by JULIA WARD HOWE. PRESIDENT WOODROW WILSON IN 1914 MADE THE OFFICIAL announcement proclaiming MOTHER'S DAY AS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY. That was to be held each year on the 2nd Sunday of MAY. I WANT TO SHARE SOME THING ABOUT INDIAN MOTHERS EVERY ONE IN THIS MOTHER’S DAY.

The Indian mother is not just playing the ‘role’ of mother along with other roles as many western mothers do. She is a mother-totally and completely. When I describe about Indian moms with my American friends the way Indian mother relates to her children, feeding them with her hands, sleeping with them till they are 6 or 8. They are surprised and they told me this behavior goes against the grain of our highly individualistic society where mothers treat children as only one part of their life – placing equal importance on pursuing ambitious moneymaking careers and private interests. This attitude causes mothers to shut their two years old baby in a room at naptime and a set and timer for 15 minutes letting them cry until the timer rings. It creates anger irritation and frustration with one planned activity.

As an Indian mom it is painful to see the complexes building up in the children in America because their parents leave them for 10 or 12 hours a day.

One day a friend of my daughter’s left her two year old girl with me. She was having trouble with napping in a dark closed room. I thought let me lie down with her like an Indian mother. When I did, she was amazed and hugged me like my own baby…it really touched me.

I thanked my mom she was a wonderful and rare woman her gentle compassionate touch shaped my very essence forever. I love you mom I miss you a lot. I know where ever you are you will feel my written words.

Indian Idol 2

When the Indian Idol was first introduced in India, the sony TV made the following claim

When 'Idols', the hugely popular worldwide phenomenon, was brought to India last year as 'Indian Idol', Sony Entertainment Television promised the nation that it would forget everything else and it surely did!
It surely did but not the way they thought but rather for being very awful!

Objective of this program seems to be to just fool the public and make easy money for the channel than a singing competition. As indicated by other viewers, it’s a local group judgment. Definitely not an all-Indian viewer judgment!

They have given lot of rules and regulations on General Terms and Conditions for voting for Indian Idol But failed establish any broader rules for the participants. The overall format is hopeless - selection, voting and role of judges. There should be a MINIMUM dress code and selection criteria for the participation.
If there is NO dress sense don't select participants at all. Please don't make fun of their status by re-playing those videos.

This kind of mass voting is considered for games and quiz, not to play with a career of an individual. If 1000 people vote for 3 lakhs times, it doesn’t mean that the participant got 3 lakhs votes. It’s sad to see the judges are made helpless viewers after the last 12 selections. ‘Mass’ people considered none of their recommended comments properly before voting.

Anchors

Putting too much stress on village girl, poor family, small place, sometimes I feel was a waste of projection.

Judges

Anumalik -hope this gets to you! I just wanted to say that if anyone was a true judge there, it was you! Not only were you honest, but also rather entertaining! Good for you and keep it up! I trust that you will stand by your words, and give Karunya a chance! For it takes a true expert to see a true diamond!

Farah Khan - You are one in a million. No wonder why you are so talented. You are a great human being.

Sonu Nigam - Sonu is the one who is lovable and a kind person. Who respect the feelings of others? Sonu is whose voice is truly true and honest, sweet and blessings of GOD.

Participants

Karunya - I have watched the Indian Idol show from the beginning. And all throughout he did so well, consistently he was singing great and he could sing all kinds of songs beautifully. In our minds and hearts karunya is the real Indian Idol. We are very proud of him, especially when the results were announced there was a smile on his face and his parents also. They took it really gracefully and with Great Spirit. This is just the beginning for him. He has the clarity in terms of speech & pronunciation as well as a crystal clear voice quality.

Sandeep Acharya - His selection as an Indian Idol-2 was not fair at all and I think he also knows that and will agree. But, since, Indian janta has selected sandeep as their Indian Idol-2; he must think seriously that how he can improve his singing more effectively that he could sing almost every type of songs flawlessly. Only this is the way left to justify his selection as an Indian Idol-2.

It is unfortunate that even after 58 years of independence from the British, we Indians are still slaves to the great regional divide! It is a pity that a highly talented and versatile singer like Karunya has lost to the regional bias of the Indian people!

No sane person, with an iota of music sense, would have felt bad if Karunya had lost to a worthy competitor like Amey Date. Then, it would have still been a moment of National Pride. But, the fact that he has lost to an unworthy competitor makes this verdict a NATIONAL SHAME!!

My head hangs in shame for what my fellow India’s have done to talent. Nothing personal against Sandeep but, yes he has good looks and that is all. He has got nothing new to offer, except the same old voice of Udit Narayanji. There is nothing fresh for the music lovers. Besides, he is very poor in Sur. Even in the Grand Finals, he faltered in his Sur in most of his songs. It is still a foregone conclusion that, though Sandeep may have won the crown, KARUNYA IS THE UNCROWNED KING of the Indian Idol Contest, as he has the potential and caliber far greater than that of even Abhijeet Sawant, who incidentally also favored Karunya as the II2.

So what, if the crazy, biased, Janata has voted him out, Karunya is clearly the favorite of a majority of the Industry bigwigs and mark my words, he will make it to the pinnacle of success in singing, by overshadowing some of the biggest names of our times!!

GOD BLESS YOU KARUNYA! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR INDIAN IDOL, Crown or no Crown!
